Our contributions include, but are not limited to: Gordon Companies is proud of its active and long-standing relationship with Oishei Children’s Hospital of Buffalo and Kaleida Health. The company sponsors the health foundation’s major annual fundraising event, the Festival of Trees, donating decorated trees, ornaments and wreaths to the annual event. The decorated trees are enjoyed by all visitors to the Buffalo Convention Center and auctioned off at an annual gala to benefit the hospital. Gordon Companies is proud to partner with Hospice Buffalo, which provides emotional, spiritual and professional medical care and compassionate end-of-life support. The company created the Rachel Gordon Endowment to provide educational programs on the practice of Hospice, palliative care and end-of-life issues. Programs like these help Hospice continue to care for patients and families who are without basic necessities, as well as to provide essential volunteer services that are such an integral component of hospice care. Gordon Companies is a proud founding member of the Boys and Girls Club of Cheektowaga, offering a donation of well over $30,000. Additionally, Vice President of Ecommerce Laura Gordon contributed in the founding advisory counsel, contributing web services and leadership. Gordon Companies commitment to this important community resource did not end there. The company continues to donate annually to the local fundraiser, securing hundreds of additional dollars each year. This includes, but is not limited to the Food Bank of WNY and Resurrection Life Food Pantry based near our company headquarters in Cheektowaga, NY.
